The Orlando Magic waived Jonathan Isaac on Saturday, concluding his injury-plagued tenure with the team after being selected sixth overall in the 2017 NBA draft. Isaac, who showed promise with 75 games played in the 2018-19 season, suffered a torn ACL in August 2020 and missed two full seasons. This season, he averaged 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds over 52 games but did not participate in the playoffs due to a knee strain. Over his career with the Magic, Isaac played 328 games, averaging 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and ranking sixth in franchise history with 391 blocks.
