Rockies southpaw Sammy Peralta was outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque after clearing waivers following his DFA. The 28-year-old pitched 2 2/3 innings for the Rockies this season, allowing three runs while striking out four. Over his career, he has a 5.40 ERA in 48 1/3 major league innings and a stronger 4.79 ERA in 229 1/3 Triple-A innings, showing improved command and ground-ball rates with his sinker. Peralta has the option to reject the assignment for free agency.
