Buddy Hield and the Atlanta Hawks have mutually agreed to extend the deadline for his guaranteed salary, which includes $3 million of his $9.7 million contract. Hield, who played only seven games after being traded from the Golden State Warriors, averaged 8.0 points in 44 games with the Warriors. He is set to enter his age 32 season in the upcoming year. The extension provides the Hawks more time to evaluate Hield’s performance.
