Left-hander Matthew Boyd, who missed the last two months due to injuries, is set to be activated for Thursday’s game against the New York Mets, as announced by manager Craig Counsell. Boyd’s last appearance was on May 3, where he pitched six innings with two earned runs, holding a 2-1 record and a 6.00 ERA over 24 innings this season.
