The Baltimore Orioles have placed catcher Adley Rutschman on the 7-day concussion injured list after he was hit in the head by a throw during a game against the Mariners. Outfielder Michael Siani has been recalled from Triple-A to fill the roster spot. Rutschman, who is having a strong season with a 118 wRC+ and 1.9 fWAR, is eligible to return on June 26th. In his absence, Samuel Basallo will start at catcher, supported by Sam Huff.
