Jackson State has appointed Kendrick Perkins as the general manager of its men’s basketball team. In addition to his basketball role, Perkins will engage with the school’s broadcast and journalism program. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Perkins aims to positively influence young lives and contribute to his community. The team, which struggled last season with a 12-21 record, has not reached the NCAA Tournament since 2007.
