Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen revealed he was “chastised” by Major League Baseball (MLB) after writing Charlie Kirk’s name on his hat during a game following Kirk’s assassination. Treinen received a warning for violating MLB’s uniform policy against personal messages, although he faced no further disciplinary action. Recently, MLB issued similar warnings to Giants pitchers for writing Bible verses on their hats during Pride Night. Treinen opted not to wear a Pride-themed hat during his team’s event, stating, “My job is to abide by the rules.”
