Broncos OLB Jonathon Cooper has been excused from mandatory minicamp due to ongoing legal issues, as reported by Mike Klis of 9News. Last week, Cooper was arrested twice, facing charges including domestic violence and violating a protection order after an altercation with his girlfriend. He could be subject to the league’s personal conduct policy pending an investigation. Cooper, 28, has been a notable player for the Broncos since being drafted in 2021 and signed an extension in November 2024.
