Sean Payton has signed a new five-year contract with the Denver Broncos, extending his tenure through 2030 after successfully leading the team to the AFC Championship game. Broncos owner Greg Penner praised Payton for instilling a winning culture and fostering stability within the organization. Payton, who previously had a record of 161 victories with the Saints, has revitalized the Broncos, guiding them to their first playoff appearance in nine years in 2024. The team had previously traded their 2024 first-round and 2023 second-round picks to acquire Payton from New Orleans.
