The Carolina Panthers have waived tight end Heinrich Haarberg from their roster. Haarberg, who signed with the team as a rookie free agent in May after starting at quarterback for Nebraska in 2023, transitioned to tight end during his career. The 23-year-old caught 11 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown in college, while completing 87 of 175 passes for 1,068 yards, seven touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He was a three-star recruit and started nine games at quarterback during his five-year college tenure.
