D-Backs Lose to Dodgers 0-7

The Arizona Diamondbacks faced a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers, with starting pitcher Zac Gallen struggling to contain the offense, allowing five runs in just five innings. Despite Eduardo Rodriguez’s strong performance in the first game of the series, the D-Backs couldn’t capitalize on favorable pitching matchups, as they were dominated by Shohei Ohtani, who extended his no-hit streak. The team’s lack of offensive rhythm continued, resulting in a disappointing 1-5 record since sweeping the Giants. The Diamondbacks aim to regroup and split the series in their next game.
