Kyle McCann, originally a catcher by necessity at age 12, developed a passion for the position due to its constant involvement in the game. After a successful college career at Georgia Tech, he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics and made his MLB debut in 2024. Following a stint in Mexico and recovery from an injury, he signed with the Colorado Rockies in early 2026.
