Torquay United has signed 25-year-old striker Isaac Westendorf, who previously played for Oxford City, scoring four goals in 26 games last season. The German-born forward developed his youth career at Barking and Newcastle United before playing for Northern Irish club Larne, where he won a league title, and then Maltese side Balzan. Torquay manager Jimmy Ball praised Westendorf as a passionate and dynamic player. He is the second forward to join the team this week, following Sean Robertson.
