Kodai Senga made his latest rehab start for Triple-A Syracuse, pitching five innings and allowing three runs on six hits, two walks, and two hit batters while striking out five. His ERA stands at 5.19 over three rehab outings, with 91 pitches thrown. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza indicated the team will evaluate Senga’s performance and recovery before determining his next steps. Senga was placed on the IL in late April due to lumbar spine inflammation, as the Mets seek to bolster their rotation following Clay Holmes‘ injury.
