The Pittsburgh Steelers secured linebacker Nick Herbig with a four-year, $100 million contract extension, including $42 million guaranteed, keeping him with the team through the 2030 season. Herbig, 24, had a career-high 7.5 sacks in 2025 and expressed his desire to remain a Steeler for life. Originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, he has recorded 79 tackles and 16 sacks in 45 games. The Steelers are also addressing contract negotiations for cornerback Joey Porter Jr.
