In Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs 127-114, putting the Spurs on the brink of elimination. Despite a strong start, San Antonio’s turnovers and stagnant offense allowed OKC to build a halftime lead of 69-58. The Thunder surged in the third quarter, extending their lead to 20 before the Spurs responded but ultimately fell short. Victor Wembanyama struggled, finishing with 20 points on 4-15 shooting.
