Abner Uribe gestures at Cardinals; manager expresses embarrassment

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Abner Uribe celebrated a strikeout against the St. Louis Cardinals with a D-Generation X crotch chop, prompting displeasure from manager Pat Murphy, who deemed the act “unacceptable.” Uribe justified his actions as defending teammates after alleging Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol signaled to hit Brewers players in a previous game. While Uribe apologized post-game, he expressed concerns about the Cardinals’ gestures towards his teammates. Tensions are heightened as the teams prepare to face off again.
