The Seattle Seahawks have made an initial contract offer to cornerback Devon Witherspoon, but both sides are reportedly far from reaching an agreement. Witherspoon, who is represented by the same agent as Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez, has been attending voluntary OTAs despite having two years remaining on his rookie deal. Selected fifth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, Witherspoon had a notable 2025 season with 72 tackles and one interception. The Seahawks are expected to continue discussions as the training camp approaches.
