The Chicago Cubs have recalled outfielder Kevin Alcantara, the team’s No. 5 overall prospect, just a day after promoting infield prospect Pedro Ramirez. Alcantara, who has 21 MLB at-bats over the last two seasons, has been impressive in Triple-A this season, posting a .242/.339/.567 slash line with 15 home runs and 32 RBI. Throughout his minor league career, he has accumulated 80 home runs and 361 RBIs in 2,056 at-bats.
