Tiago Splitter, Jeff Van Gundy, Micah Nori Finalists for Blazers’ Coach

Tiago Splitter, Jeff Van Gundy, and Micah Nori are the finalists for the Portland Trail Blazers’ head coaching position, following Chauncey Billups’ arrest on federal charges. Splitter has served as interim head coach in Billups’ absence. Van Gundy recently returned to coaching as an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers after a long broadcasting career and previously coached the Houston Rockets. Nori, a longtime assistant under Chris Finch with the Minnesota Timberwolves, has been a candidate for other head coaching roles in the past.
