Rashee Rice, wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, underwent knee surgery to remove debris causing inflammation just a week before being sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating probation related to a 2024 car crash. The surgery did not reveal structural damage, but he is expected to miss two months of play, including the Chiefs’ OTA mini-camp. Rice’s probation violation came after testing positive for THC, and he was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the crash. He will be released on June 16, 2026.
