At 27, Abruzzese had an impressive season with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch, tallying 15 goals and 51 points in 56 games, and adding four points in four playoff games. Originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs, he has 267 AHL games under his belt and brings 11 games of NHL experience. His signing offers valuable depth and a skilled option for potential call-ups as the Lightning manage salary cap constraints.
