Steve Kerr is returning to the Golden State Warriors, but his top assistants, Terry Stotts and Jerry Stackhouse, are departing to pursue head coaching opportunities after their contracts expired. Stotts, the lead assistant and offensive coordinator, expressed gratitude for his time with the team, while Stackhouse, the defensive coordinator, previously coached at Vanderbilt and the G League. Additionally, former assistant Chris DeMarco has left to coach the WNBA’s New York Liberty, and Willie Green is a candidate to fill one of the vacant coaching positions. The Warriors are also expected to make significant roster changes, potentially including moving on from Draymond Green.
