Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens signed his franchise tag worth $27.3 million on April 29, with executive vice president Stephen Jones expecting him to participate in voluntary workouts. However, Pickens was absent from the team’s first workout following his signing, as attendance is not mandatory until June 16. The Cowboys have stated they will not pursue a long-term deal with Pickens this offseason and have “zero interest” in trading him. Pickens, who was acquired last year, led the team in several receiving categories in 2025.
