Charle Young, former 49ers tight end, dies at 75

Charle Young, a key player for the San Francisco 49ers during their early dynasty, has passed away at 75. The team honored him for his contributions, including two receptions from Joe Montana in the pivotal 1981 NFC Championship game. Over 13 NFL seasons, Young recorded 418 receptions for 5,106 yards, making him one of 48 tight ends with over 5,000 career receiving yards. Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004, he was a standout player at USC before being drafted sixth overall by the Eagles.
