The Los Angeles Dodgers have strengthened their outfield by trading for Alek Thomas from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Despite a challenging season with a .181 batting average, Thomas, known for his speed and defensive skills, may serve as a late-inning replacement and pinch runner. The Dodgers sent outfield prospect Jose Requena to Arizona and designated Michael Siani for assignment to make room for Thomas, who has a postseason history, including four homers in the 2023 World Series.
