The Colorado Avalanche made notable changes for Game 4 of their NHL playoff series against the Minnesota Wild, starting goalie Mackenzie Blackwood for the first time in nearly a month after Scott Wedgewood’s struggles in Game 3. Defenseman Josh Manson returned from an upper-body injury, while Artturi Lehkonen missed his first game due to injury, prompting captain Gabriel Landeskog to skate with Nathan MacKinnon. Other lineup adjustments included Valeri Nichushkin moving to the third line and Joel Kiviranta returning from injury. Wedgewood, who had a strong playoff performance before Game 3, now shares the net duties with Blackwood, who previously played in the playoffs against the Dallas Stars.
