The Los Angeles Chargers have signed tight end David Njoku to a one-year contract worth up to $8 million, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Njoku, 29, spent nine seasons with the Cleveland Browns and had his best year in 2023, earning a Pro Bowl nomination. Limited by injuries in recent seasons, he recorded 33 receptions for 293 yards and four touchdowns last year. He joins a Chargers tight end group that includes rookie Oronde Gadsden, who had a strong debut season.
