According to Joseph Person, the Panthers and cornerback Jaycee Horn have restructured his contract, creating $13.1 million in cap space by converting $16.4 million of his salary into a signing bonus and adding a void year. Horn, the 8th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, just completed a four-year, $21.1 million rookie contract and was set to play on a fifth-year option costing $12.472 million in 2025. Recently, he signed a four-year, $100 million extension. In 2025, Horn played 16 games, recording 37 tackles and five interceptions.
