Jets Sign EDGE David Bailey

The New York Jets have signed No. 2 overall pick EDGE David Bailey to a four-year rookie contract. Bailey, who started his college career at Stanford and finished at Texas Tech, was a unanimous All-American and recorded impressive stats, including 29 sacks and 10 forced fumbles. His four-year contract is projected to be worth $55.5 million, with a signing bonus of $36.86 million. He is the fifth player from the Jets’ draft class to secure a rookie deal.
