Aaron Wilson of KPRC has reported that the Panthers are releasing linebacker Jacoby Windmon. Windmon, 24, initially signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 draft but had a tumultuous journey, bouncing between practice squads and active rosters. He joined the Panthers in October 2024, appearing in eight games and recording 22 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two pass deflections. The Panthers waived him after the 2025 preseason, marking the end of his stint with the team.
