Rick Stroud reports that the Buccaneers are signing first-round draft pick DE Rueben Bain Jr. to his rookie deal, making him the first of their draft class to do so. Bain, selected 15th overall in the 2026 draft, was a standout at the University of Miami, with accolades including All-ACC honors and the Ted Hendricks award. He is projected to sign a four-year deal worth approximately $23.76 million, including a $13.74 million signing bonus. Throughout his collegiate career, Bain recorded 121 tackles, 20.5 sacks, and earned multiple defensive awards.
