Dodji Dahoue, a 6-foot-9, 300-pound offensive tackle, is a unique addition to the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent, having only taken up football in 2022 after starting his athletic career in basketball. Born in France and raised in Mali, Dahoue played at Santa Rosa Junior College before transferring to Eastern Michigan University, where he was named Freshman of the Year and later suffered a torn ACL in 2025. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering, adding to his unconventional journey to the NFL. The Giants may utilize the NFL’s International Pathway program to aid his recovery and development while keeping him on the practice squad.
