Former NHL defenseman Korbinian Holzer has announced his retirement from professional hockey, concluding a nine-year NHL career with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, and Nashville Predators. Drafted 111th overall by Toronto in 2006, Holzer played 206 NHL games, scoring six goals and 27 points, and had a successful tenure in the AHL. He finished his career with the Graz99ers after stints in the KHL and DEL. We congratulate Holzer on his career and wish him well in his future endeavors.
