Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid announced that Patrick Mahomes is expected to participate in some capacity during the team’s voluntary offseason practices from May 26-28. Mahomes, recovering from a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee, is aiming for a Week 1 return after a challenging season that saw the team miss the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Reid believes Mahomes is in a good position to engage in activities, as the initial phase of practice involves no contact. Mahomes previously shared a video showing his progress in throwing.
