Aaron Wilson of KPRC reports that free agent running back Austin Ekeler has been fully cleared for all football activities following his recovery from a torn Achilles sustained last September. Ekeler, who intends to play in 2026, is expected to attract significant interest around the league. After going undrafted in 2017, he recently signed a two-year contract with the Commanders, having previously played on a four-year, $24.5 million deal. In 2025, he participated in two games, rushing for 43 yards and catching five passes for 38 yards.
