The Houston Texans have signed linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair to a three-year contract extension, as reported by Ian Rapoport. Al-Shaair, 28, initially joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the 49ers in 2019 and played for the Titans in 2023 before moving to the Texans with a $34 million deal. In the 2025 season, he recorded 103 tackles, two interceptions, and nine pass defenses. This extension secures his position with the Texans through 2026, where he is set to earn an $11 million base salary.
