According to Pro Football Talk, the New York Giants have released veteran defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal, who was signed to a futures deal in January. Leal, 25, previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was a third-round draft pick in 2021 after a successful college career at Texas A&M. He entered the final year of a four-year, $5.2 million rookie contract before being cut by the Steelers after the preseason, appearing in four games and recording two tackles in 2025.
