The Minnesota Timberwolves’ guard Anthony Edwards is expected to miss several weeks due to a left knee injury sustained during Game 4 against the Denver Nuggets, although the knee’s structure is intact. He has a bone bruise and hyperextension, while teammate Donte DiVincenzo suffered a torn Achilles tendon, ending his season. Edwards averaged 28.8 points per game this season and was a key player for the U.S. Olympic gold medal team in 2024. Game 5 of the playoff series is scheduled for Monday night in Denver.
