Goalkeeper Grant Tamosevicius has received a contract extension from St Mirren, just five days after conceding five goals on his debut in a Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic. The 17-year-old stepped in following an injury to Ryan Mullen, who will undergo surgery. Despite Mullen’s injury, interim manager Craig McLeish praised Tamosevicius’s performance, leading to a new deal that keeps him with the club until summer 2029. St Mirren has also signed Ross Sinclair on an emergency loan due to their goalkeeping injuries.
