The Providence Bruins’ goaltender, Michael DiPietro, has won the Les Cunningham Award as the AHL’s regular season MVP, marking him as the first goaltender to receive the honor since Dustin Wolf in 2023. DiPietro, 26, recorded an impressive 34-8-1 record with a .930 SV% and 1.91 GAA this season. Given the depth of the Bruins’ goaltending, he may be traded to a goalie-needy team this summer. Additionally, Radko Gudas will miss Game 3 for the Anaheim Ducks, while Jason Dickinson is a game-time decision for the Oilers, and Oliver Moore, Sam Lafferty, and Wyatt Kaiser will represent Team USA in the IIHF World Championships.
