The Dallas Cowboys have traded their 12th, 177th, and 180th picks in the 2026 draft to the Miami Dolphins for the 11th overall pick. With this selection, the Cowboys chose Ohio State defensive back Caleb Downs, who previously transferred from Alabama. Downs, 21, won the Jim Thorpe Award and Lott Trophy, earning multiple All-American and Big Ten honors during his college career. He recorded impressive stats, including 257 tackles and six interceptions across 44 games.
