After allowing just one run through four innings and striking out the side in the first, Tong gave up four runs in the fifth, including two home runs, ending his outing with six earned runs on five hits and 10 strikeouts. Despite an ERA of 7.04, he has maintained a high strikeout rate, totaling 23 strikeouts in 15.1 innings this season.
