The Vegas Golden Knights are set to activate goaltender Carter Hart off long-term injured reserve for Thursday’s game against the Calgary Flames, following a 33-game absence due to a lower-body injury. Hart, who signed a two-year contract with Vegas in October, played 12 games prior to his injury, achieving six wins and an .871 save percentage. Head coach John Tortorella, who previously coached Hart, will manage a goaltending trio that includes Adin Hill and Akira Schmid, as the team aims to maintain their third-place standing in the Pacific Division. The Golden Knights have struggled defensively, prompting a coaching change after a mediocre March performance.
