Calgary Flames prospect Ethan Wyttenbach will return to Quinnipiac University for his sophomore season after leading college hockey in scoring as a freshman, finishing in the top 10 for the Hobey Baker Award. Wyttenbach, one of only five freshmen to achieve this since 2000, will aim to replicate his success alongside returning teammates Antonin Verreault and Markus Vidicek. The Cougars, who won the NCAA National championship in 2023, seek to improve after their early exit this season. Wyttenbach’s performance is crucial for maintaining Quinnipiac’s competitive edge heading into the 2026-27 season.
