The Minnesota Twins have outrighted catcher Alex Jackson to Triple-A St. Paul after designating him for assignment, following his acquisition from the Orioles. Jackson, who has three years of service but has not reached five, is expected to accept the minor league assignment. Meanwhile, righty reliever Matt Bowman returns to the Twins on a new minor league deal after a strong Spring Training performance, and will also start the season in St. Paul, aiming for a spot in the big league bullpen.
