The Cleveland Browns have restructured DE Myles Garrett’s contract, enhancing financial flexibility for the team while offering Garrett modified payment options. The amendments include pushing back the deadline for exercising option bonuses from the 15th day of the league year to just before the regular season and converting $8 million of his base salary in 2029 and 2030 into early roster bonuses. Garrett, a former first-round pick in 2017, signed a significant five-year extension worth $125 million in 2020 and a record four-year, $160 million deal in March. In the 2025 season, he played all 17 games, recording 60 tackles and 23 sacks.
