Free agent running back Najee Harris, recovering from an Achilles tendon tear sustained in September while with the Chargers, is demonstrating progress with a recent video of him sprinting on a treadmill. Although treadmill sprints differ from the cutting required on the field, his ability to run six months post-injury is promising for a return by Week One. Harris, who signed a one-year contract with the Chargers last year, previously played four seasons with the Steelers, consistently surpassing 1,000 rushing yards. His challenging 2025 included an eye injury from a fireworks accident, but he was ready for the regular season.
