Kansas City, Mo. (AP) — Second-ranked Arizona defeated UCF 81-59 in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals, led by Brayden Burries with 21 points and Tobe Awaka’s double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds. Arizona, now on a seven-game winning streak, will face No. 7 Iowa State next, while UCF’s Themus Fulks scored 14 points. A concerning moment occurred when UCF’s John Bol collapsed during the game. The Wildcats, aiming for redemption after last year’s championship loss, maintained control despite a brief UCF rally.
