Nets Do Not Extend Grant Nelson’s 10-Day Contract

The Brooklyn Nets have opted not to extend Grant Nelson’s tenure with a second 10-day contract. Nelson, a 7’0 forward who went undrafted from Alabama, was the sixth rookie added to the team after five first-round picks last June. In his four games with the Nets, he averaged 4.3 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks, shooting 55.6% overall. He previously averaged 11.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in 23 G League games with the Long Island Nets.
